How To Dispose of Grihpravesh Puja Offerings Afterwards?
Do NOT throw the used flowers and leaves in a water body. Dry the flowers with cinnamon/ dried citrus peel to make a potpourri. You can also use flowers, banana leaves, paan, etc. to make organic compost at home. In many cities, there are special organizations that collect puja offerings.

One can bury leftover wooden pieces, herbs, ashes etc. of Havan in pots. My friend Suruchi has compiled an excellent practical guide on this topic which you can read by clicking below.
With this, I bring to an end my series of blog posts on Grihpravesh. Hope these posts equip you to conduct and host a Grihpravesh ceremony effortlessly. Please share your own regional variations of conducting a Grihpravesh.
You can also share techniques of puja waste disposal in the comments.
