It is funny. Life, i.e. The way it twists & turns. It springs surprises & shocks when you least expect it. & you bear it, with either a grin or with tears in your eyes. Most of the times, you can do zilch about it. Because, I guess, that is the way life is destined to be.
People make up life. No person’s life is lived in solitude. & these people change your life with time. Sometimes, they bring the greatest joys & at times, they throw you into sadness. The worst part is you cannot throw anyone out.
You can physically discard someone but removing her/ him from your mind, your heart, your thoughts… Well, that is a dream – if you could actually eliminate, or rather forget someone completely. Life does not allow you that & even while being absent physically, these people affect your life, your thoughts. You do things keeping them in mind.
Deaths, distance, a soured relation – all these take away people from you but nothing can make you get over them in entirety. Sometimes you wish that life had taken a different turn than what actually happened but isn’t that what makes you learn?
You learn through the vicissitudes of life & grow stronger. I do not believe any experience is worthless. Everything makes you grow. I am repeating myself. I should just let your mind think the rest…

Very well written, Priya… But, more than forgiveness, i think its more important to accept life – every aspect of it… the good, the bad and the ugly… they all make life beautiful, and not just what leaves you feeling good!!! Accept and life will be beautiful!!!!

Yes, when we accept, we start the process of healing.

Baat jo dil ko chuu jaae!! The worst form of estrangement is death, it is just so final. The only way ahead we have is to forgive others (even when there are no apologies), more importantly, forgive ourselves, and look forward to tomorrow.
Love your writing, the way you are able to be so honest with your emotions.

I didn’t even know you read my blog posts. Wow! & thank you so much. Forgiveness is the highest ideal & of which, most are incapable. Perhaps I included. But looking forward is the only way ahead if we want to live productively & contentedly. Thanks again!

Well written! And better conceptualised! Facts remain the same, because truth is eternal ! But to feel and jot it down in beautiful literature is not in every body’s genes. Congratulations and blessings for many more literary achievements .

Wow! I didn’t know you read my blog posts. I’m pleasantly surprised. I completely agree with you that forgiveness is important. Specially for our own closure. But, TBH, I’m poor in that department. Forgiveness doesn’t come to me naturally. I keep telling myself that it’s just myself that I’m hurting but I guess your innate nature doesn’t change that easily. :) Thanks again!
